The core LPI team are based at an academic institution (Institute of Zoology, ZSL), where they have led the scientific and technical development of the LPI database and method. The team, along with collaborators, continue to use the database and ancillary data, which comprises information on ecology, threats and conservation management, to explore a range of research topics.
